Meet the Team

Mark Trim is company director of Complex Travel Group, parent company of RoundAbout Travel. Mark has been in the industry since he was 20 years old, starting the company with wife Amy in 2008. Mark’s now taken a step back from consulting to focus on the commercial side of the business and managing the team. When he’s not on Dad duty, Mark is a keen trail and ultra runner.

Amy started Complex Travel with husband Mark in 2008 and is the unsung hero of the company, keeping everything running at the back-end, dedicating her time to the finance and HR responsibilities of the company. Amy has a keen interest in dancing, fashion and exercise in her spare time when not looking after their 2 young children.

Anthony is CEO of Complex Travel Group, parent company of RoundAbout Travel. Anthony is an experienced leader of growing businesses across automotive, online marketing, consulting and has also spent time in the defence industry. Anthony loves to be active outside of work, whether trail running, playing basketball or running around after his 3 boys. He is also a C-grade drummer for fun!

Kenny joined RoundAbout Travel as the IT Development Manager. Kenny is highly skilled in the areas of website development, IT project management and graphic design. When not behind a PC, Kenny enjoys playing social basketball, frequenting one of Adelaide’s many restaurants and enjoying a local glass of wine.

Laura’s travel industry journey began 18 years ago, after starting her career in finance. She is passionate about leadership and delivering outstanding customer service, having led large-scale businesses across multiple sites in Australia. Laura loves all things music, and you’ll often find her at gigs locally, interstate and overseas. Her favourite trips have included camping in Africa, trekking in Nepal and soaking up the sun in Samoa.

Jess has spent almost a decade in the travel industry across retail, corporate, and support roles. The disruption of having kids and a world pandemic led to an opportunity to develop professionally across project management and philanthropy. Recently, Jess visited her 44th country on a trip to Europe and is now aiming to reach 50 countries by her 40th birthday. Her favourite pastime is listening to podcasts, and she loves a good spreadsheet!

Michaela has 20 years experience working in a travel including with Garuda Indonesia and Malaysia Airlines, wholesale travel and retail travel training. After a 2 year break during COVID, she missed being a part of the travel industry and joined RoundAbout Travel. Outside of work, Michaela is taking her 2 kids to various sports and enjoys playing tennis. She is a tragic Collingwood supporter but don’t hold that against her!

Robert has worked in the travel industry for over 25 years, starting in retail travel before moving to the corporate space. Most recently managing large market, multi-national client's travel programs. Outside of work, Robert enjoys long-distance hiking, camping and discovering new overseas destinations to visit.

As Marketing Manager, Blake leads a talented team of marketing professionals and brings over a decade of experience in digital and traditional marketing, specialising in brand development, content creation, and campaign management. As a former performer who travelled the world in musicals and shows, Blake’s love for creativity and performing arts spills into every part of his life, on and off the clock.

Marc has a decade of experience as a Travel Consultant, as well as 8 years in leadership roles such as Team Leader and Branch Manager. He has made the move to focus on his specialty, which is airfares, along with all the benefits that come from finding the right product for the right customer. Outside of work, he loves spending time with family, especially on Sundays when they have their weekly family dart competition. He also loves watching F1 and playing soccer.

Liam begun his travel career in 2017 and has spent time working in London, at a large travel agency branch on Oxford St. By night, Liam is a local music producer with a focus on house and garage music. His favourite destination is Iceland where he was lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights.

Lianne began working in travel in 2006 in both retail and corporate and has returned to the industry after a 2 year hiatus. She has worked in luxury hotels in the UK and summer camps in the US, with her most memorable moment watching the ball drop in Times Square on New Years Eve. Lianne loves spending time with her 5 year old daughter, visiting cafes in the Adelaide Hills and watching reality TV.

Joe worked in 5 Star hotels in both NZ and Melbourne before joining a leading UK luxury travel firm in 2017, spending 5 years creating complex itineraries through Europe and across the South Pacific. Joe enjoys working with travellers to find unique solutions to their travel requests and as a self-described cheapskate loves a deal! His interests are gardening, hiking and crying over another St Kilda defeat.

Daniel entered the travel industry in 2008, becoming a Team Lead in 2009.  He’s focused on providing amazing customer service and tailoring the perfect trip for his clients.  Daniel's favourite destination would be Italy, with all its culture and history, as well as the amazing food and wine. He loves AFL as a devoted Carlton supporter…but please don't hold this against him.

Anna began her travel career in 1999 and has largely been involved in fares and ticketing. She has also worked with MICE and Product as well as hosting private group tours. Her passion for travel began when she travelled to the USA as a camp counsellor after finishing school. Outside of work Anna runs around after her 2 boys. She enjoys hiking and camping which stems from growing up in the country. Still on her bucket list is seeing the Northern Lights in Norway and doing some hikes around the world.

Kylie has worked in Finance within the travel industry for over 15 years. Outside of work, Kylie is kept busy with her 3 children. Kylie enjoys keeping active and loves the beach, NRL and cooking for her family. Kylie's favourite travel destination is the USA.

Jodie is an administrative professional with 22 years of experience in various roles. Such as exporting/importing, sales, finance, inventory management, as well as purchasing. Jodie loves to spend time with her partner, friends, and family - and also spoiling her fur babies, Lily & Luna. She enjoys travelling, camping, the beach, live music, and cooking.

Alex’s travel career started in 2017 and in 2023 spent some time working in Lake Louise, Canada. Alex spends money on travel and new technology, loves anything gaming and anime related and is a massive fan of just about any major sport in the world (Go Crowies!). Alex will never say no to heading down to the beach and having a beer.

Georgie has worked in travel for 3+ years now. After completing her university studies in tourism, she started in retail travel and found her passion for the industry. One of her favourite travel memories is climbing Sigiriya Rock while visiting Sri Lanka. When she isn't at work, you can find her spending time with loved ones, in a group fitness class, or paddleboarding!
